This is the Benchmade Pardue 530 serrated knife. The one I own has a combo blade which has a serrated blade near the base. This is the first serious knife I bought and will probably be the last.
Why do I like this knife so much? The knife is compact, incredibly light, very sturdy, and simple. It fits nicely in my pocket and because it’s so light, I sometimes forget it’s there. The blade is sharp and hasn’t become dull in the three years I’ve used it. The pardue uses Benchmade’s AXIS locking mechanism which is simple and very smooth.
I love the simplicity of this knife and the build quality. It’s a great everyday carry.
